The samples are very short, and combined with the shortness of the personality section, we feel it did not have a chance to display adequate understanding of the character. Your writing quality itself was fine, but the content was incomplete.
The most significant difficulty we have with this application is that, although we would not turn away a more childish, cracky character simply for being that, we do not intend Lost Realm to be a primarily cracky game. Therefore we are looking for a level of seriousness and forethought from the applicant in regards to placing a character like that in this game, and we did not see that present. It is very possible to play a relatively two dimensional character in a three dimensional way, and we would need to see that contingent to accepting Edd into the community. This was difficult to see with such a short application, and was one of our major concerns.
Finally, the application was not formatted properly. While this is a minor detail that could be easily fixed, it did contribute to our decision in a small way, and should you reapply we would expect this to be fixed.
